What is Vehicle Entry Permit (VEP)?

The Vehicle Entry Permit (VEP) is issued by Malaysia’s Road Transport Department (JPJ) for all foreign-registered vehicles entering Malaysia. It includes an RFID tag affixed to your vehicle - valid for 5 years - allowing you to travel across the Causeway worry-free. Since 1st July 2025, Malaysia had started enforcing VEP for Singapore Drivers driving into Malaysia.

Hassle-Free VEP Application for Singapore Drivers

We’ve simplified the VEP process to help you cross the border without worry. From consultation to completion, we handle the paperwork - so you don’t have to.

Vehicle Servicing Appointment. Book a servicing appointment at any of our outlets. During your visit, our service advisor will guide you through the VEP process.

Form Submission & Document Collection. We’ll provide you with an application form to complete. At the same time, we’ll help collect all required documents directly from you, including: Vehicle Log Card, Car Insurance, NRIC (Front & Back), Email Address, Car Owner's Phone Number, Passport (For Non-Singaporeans).

Payment & Application Processing. The VEP application costs $70 nett, inclusive of RFID Tag Fee & Postage Fee, payable directly to the authorised agent. Once payment is made, we’ll submit your application on your behalf for processing.

RFID Tag Installation (Optional). Prefer to install your RFID with us? We offer headlamp installation at just $25 nett. The RFID tag will be mailed to our workshop. Once received, our team will schedule an appointment with you. We’ll paste and activate the RFID tag for you - no extra hassle.
